HANDY TIPS FOR YOU TO KNOW!

(1): Do not engage a painter that wishes to charge by the hour rather than give you a firm quote for the work to be done.

(2): There are a few rogues in the industry that don’t give you the paint quality you either expect or ask for. Some are known to put rubbish paint in a new looking tin of the brand of paint they recommend or that you ask for. The only way to overcome that is that you buy your own paint or ask to see a copy of the receipt for the paint and colour you agreed to. At least you can check the date of purchase.

(3): Ask to see a copy of a current indemnity insurance policy to cover you for any damage or mishaps.

(4): Only pay for the job when it is completed. If a painter wants an advance payment only agree to pay for the paint upon receiving a copy of the paint purchase receipt.
